18-year-old Isaiash Carter was shot at about 12:25 p.m. on November 13th on the sidewalk at 24 South Parkside Avenue. Reports say that Carter was walking down the street when he started talking to at least three people. One of them turned toward Carter and shot him in the chest. Carter ran from the scene and was taken in critical condition to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police said the shooting may have been gang related.
