On January 13th at about 9:45 p.m., Pedro Velez was shot and killed while sitting in a vehicle outside his Southwest Side home after two gunmen opened fire on him from a gold SUV. When police arrived they found Velez dead at the scene. He was shot multiple times at 2608 West 15th Street.
